[resolved] Change unvisited hyperlink color from blue (8 posts)

I'm using the Cave wordpress theme on http://courses.destructivelyfit.com.

An unvisited link is the standard blue. I would like to change it to a different hex color but cannot find where to do so in the CSS. Any thoughts?

It's probably staring at me in front of my face but I cannot find it for the life of me.

    Thanks in advance!

    Bob

    Hey Bob,

You will need to change the colour in the CSS (or add it to the CSS if it is not already there).

Have a read here: W3 Schools - CSS

Let me know if that doesn't work.

No! Do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

Apologies! esmi is completely correct, always use child themes. Example plugin: here

Thanks, esmi & Timothy! Very helpful.

I should have done all my customization in the a child theme but was dumb.

Thanks so much! The Custom CSS plugin worked like a charm! :)

I knew that was a feature of some themes but didn't realize there were plug ins for them. Doh!
