How can I change the tool-tip that gets displayed when you mouse over a category link? It says "View all posts filed under [category]" I might want it to say something like "View all products listed under [category]" for example.

well its not possible to change tool tip without modifying core wordpress files since most of wordpress theme uses category template tag to retrieve all category links in list formate.

Posted 3 years ago #@arcater: Not sure if you still need this info, however, the default behavior of the wp_list_categories function allows you to enter the category description within the admin. This description is then in turn used as the tooltip when hovering the link to the category on your website.
