Hello,
Is there a way to switch the theme based on the device the site is being visited from. e.g. mobile, ipad, desktop.
I'd prefer to do this programmatically without the use of a plugin if possible.

Hi Dave, you might want to try the "wordpress-mobile pack" - plugin.
I'm currently not aware of a solution that works without plugin...Here is what it says on the plugin page:
"It includes a mobile switcher to select themes based on the type of user that is visiting the site, a selection of mobile themes, extra widgets, device adaptation and a mobile administration panel to allow users to edit the site or write new posts when out and about."
