    Hi!

Today if you visit my blog http://www.mrfilm.se, the browser will say "mrfilm.se - filmbloggen".

I wish to change that information, but i can´t find where to do it!
Any tip how i do that?

Twenty Eleven automatically uses whatever is set as the site title in Settings->General.

The strange thing is that both the Title and slogan fields are empty because it inserts an ugly text in the head of the blog. So it have to take the information elsewhere.

You can keep the header text from appearing by going to Appearance->Header and setting "Display Text" to no.

Did you do both at the same time? My second suggestion was for removing the text that appears in your header after you set something as your site title.

Since both the titel and slogan are empty since a while i don´t know why it should replace the current information?

When i tried to fill the box with the information i want to replace the old with, it just created the ugly "text-header" and not replace the name of the site, which the browser present in the "tab".

And when i tried the last tip it forced down the searchfield down to the menu and expanded it with two "lines" instead of one.

Twenty Eleven uses whatever is set as the site title to add a <title> tag to your site's head. Twenty Eleven also displays whatever you set in the header of your site (the ugly text). Setting "Display Text" to no will prevent that. If you do both of these things and comment here again before changing it all back, I can at least check to see if everything is working as it should.

You can also check the All in one SEO plugin you're using. It probably has a way of setting the title of your home page as well.

Oh my f*cking god! Why didn´t i think of the SEO plugin? OFC it will override the options for title of the site.

    THANK YOU! =)
