I’ll like to know how to change widgets template in order to get them showed equal to my theme. Right now if you go here you’ll see what I’m talking about, just compare widgets in another pages and in this one and you’ll see the differences. I read docs but didn’t found something helpful, also tried to edit event-manager/widgets/em-events.php without success, any advice?

do you have sample link for us to see? also, you can change format under WP Appearance > Widgets > Event Widget > List Item Format

Yes I have, please take a look here and I can see those options you said before under Appearance > Widgets > Event Widget > List Item Format but why it doesn’t take the default base from main theme? That’s the problem since titles are different and wrappers are too

This is the original theme and see how widgets are rendered, in my case just event widgets render bad and I can’t find where to change this behavior

    Hiya,

I can see that the code used in your theme is different to that in the original.

EM simply uses whatever the theme provides so it will be your theme that is providing the incorrect code.

If you have support with your theme I’d suggest using that to figure out what has gone wrong with your usage of it.

    Thanks,
    Phil

do you have sample screenshot of the events widget? also, you can change it’s style using custom css styling and just use chrome Inspect Element to get it’s css class or id name.

Hi angelo_nwl and thanks for your support, the site is online, take a look at this address http://smartappsla.com/icalas/conferencias/ there is live example and yes I know that this can be changed by using CSS but shouldn’t be the widgets compatibles with theme? That’s my concern and what I’m trying to do

Is the theme you are using the exact same version as the original?

Also, are you using the theme unchanged, or a modified version or child theme?

    Thanks

Yes, is the same as original and I didn’t modified nothing, I just create a page-conferencias.php (http://pastie.org/8429844) and sidebar-conference.php (http://pastie.org/8429849)

If you take the Events Manager widget out of the sidebar and instead use a simple Text widget to test, does the sidebar work correctly?
