   Hey There,

   I'm wondering if this is somehow possible.

   I know that under "settings / readings" I can change my start page to another page that i've created.

   The problem is that the URL doesn't change with it. For example - say my WordPress install is at: domain.com/wp/ when I change the start page to test-post I would like the start page to be domain.com/wp/test-post.

   The default seems to just keep the root the same. Can this be changed? Can I do it in .htaccess?

   The front page of a site is always domain.com/wp/ or domain.com/. That's what "front page" means.

   Thanks for the reply - I know it's an annoying requirement - but it had to be done.

   I solved it with this:
   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/redirection/
