Change the gallery thumbnail crop

I understand that you can’t change the size of the virtue gallery thumbnails, but is it possible to change the way they are cropped to how I have my thumbnails set up in Media -> Edit instead of all the thumbnails being cropped in the center?

I hope that made sense, I’m new to WordPress but I really love this theme!
