I am working on a site for my son's cub scout pack, and they would like to have a static page be the main landing page. Is there a way to swap one of my wp 'Pages' to the front in lieu of having if default to the blog roll? Obviously I would need to make the blog roll an internal page.

    thanks in advance!!!

Cool, that's great, but now that my static page (I called it "Welcome')and the Home page are the same, both appear in the menu bar. In other words, there is a 'Home' button and a 'Welcome' button in my menu bar and both take to the same page.

Is there any way to make the static page button not show on the menu bar?

    thanks!
