[resolved] Change Spacing Navigation Menu (2 posts)

    Hi all!

    I am using the Twenty Twelve Theme. I have a child theme setup with the style.css file.

    I want to modify the distance between the words in the Navigation Menu. I seem to have a problem in that I can only have the default spacing, whatever that is and nothing.

    I added this code I found and it removes all the spacing, so the words are right next to each other.

    .main-navigation li {margin:0}

    Pretty much like this:

    I would like a little space in between. But if I change the margin:0 to margin:1 it reverts back to default.

    Any suggestions?

    The website is https://www.pureheavencotons.com and it is the navigation bar across the top.

    Looks like I was able to find the solution. Not sure what it does, but it does what I wanted :)

    .main-navigation li a,
    .main-navigation li {
    /* display: inline-block; */
    text-decoration: none;
    float: left;
    }
