Change publish date to earlier than the current minimum (BC / AC)

    Hi,

    Back story – I’ve just built a website for a Church, with a custom taxonomy acting as an events timeline. The original idea was to allow the client to amend the publish data back in time to when the Church was funded, built, opened etc… Now they would like to push the publish date back to before the birth of Jesus!

    The problem is the publish date doesn’t go any earlier than 100 AC.

    Are there any known hacks, frigs, or solutions to allow that year to go right back to 0 and beyond? Example -100 (aka 100 years BC).

    I presume I’m going to need a third party plugin; but would like to know if it’s possible to fiddle with the native WordPress tools?
