   Is it possible to edit your Profile and Personal Options without creating a new password? I spent a fair amount of time editing that page but since I did not change my password I lost all my editing.

   Of course, I could be missing something obvious--it wouldn't be the first time--so if that's the case, please let me know.

   You can change your first name for example and click Update Profile without changing your password. Though, if you use something like FireFox's 'save password for sites' feature you may need to make sure one of the password fields doesn't get autofilled.
