I was messing aroud with creating new pages and now I can't go back. Here's an example
my blog page permalink is: mysite.com/blog-3 but I want to change it to simply mysite.com/blog
but wordpress won't let me do it under the pages menu.

found it. they were in the trash and i hadn't deleted them permanently
