change page background colour

    Trying to change the background colour for Pages in my theme (prosense). I’ve tried the suggested changes to my css, but they seem to have no effect whatever. Maybe there’s something else that needs changing in this theme? Probably a simple solution but I just can’t see it. Thanks for any help.

    Very simple 🙂 In the “presentation” tab, choose the default theme and then your edited theme again. I noticed that since 2.3.x I have to ‘reactivate’ the theme any time I make a change, no idea why.

    Thanks for the suggestion, which I tried. No joy. The weird thing is that whatever changes I make to style.css, it has no effect – even after reactivating the theme.
    To clarify, it’s the content background I’m trying to change i.e. the colour behind the text, not the colour behind the page.

    Solved, I think. Your idea got me thinking from a different angle and I tried clearing my browser’s cache before saving changes, and this worked.
