Change order of posts in the loop

    I’m looking for a way to modify the order of the posts in the loop so that they are ordered not by date, but so that the most recently commented posts come first. I’ve found various plugins but found nothing that does exactly what I’m looking for.

    I think it should just be a question of changing the wp_query function??
