Hello there, I am getting used to my WordPress site and learn every day. Now I am strugling with the order of articles in my MesoColumn themed website. We have 4 menu-items, and these show on our front page, as buttons and as bigger items, displaying 2 relevant articles each. One of these articles has expired, and I want to move the next one up. When clicking the button, the right order comes up, it just doesn't show on the home page. I hope this is a clear description, and you understand the question...
    Thanks!

i dont think WordPress query support auto expire posts.
you need to edit the post to 'draft' if you do not want the expire post to show.

That is not quite what I would like: it's OK for the post to show, just not that prominently. This is the link to our site. Under the slider we have four categories, showing two articles each. Under Agenda the article starting with '26 mei' on top, the one starting '13 juni' under that one. I would like to change that order.
When you click on the button 'agenda', they are in the right order, it just doesn't show on the home page...

this one a bit tricky. the featured category homepage is by default post order by date and the current 'Agenda' article posts is sort correctly.
the latest post in on top.

however in category 'agenda' the sorting is a bit different. the 'march' post is on top where it should be 'April',are you using some filter or plugin to change the post order in category/archives?

Yes, we're using something called 'post order', when I click on it it says: Custom Category/Post Type post Order. We use it to move passed events down, under 'recent activities'.

Thanks, you gave me the clue I needed! Changed the date the post was published, and that changed the order on the homepage!
