    Hey there,

Am a relatively new jetpack user, but have been enjoying the gallery mosaic feature which is pretty awesome. Just updated today to the latest version and it would seem that the option for number of columns is gone? It hadn’t been working before anyway, but now more than even I’m wanting to adjust the number of images per row. Is there a way to do this?

    thanks!

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

Tiled Galleries automatically calculate the numbers of columns based on your theme’s content width, the number of pictures you added to your gallery, as well as the images’ size and orientation. If you insert large landscape images, Tiled Galleries will create less columns that if you were to insert smaller portrait images.

That’s why we removed the column option from the gallery options. If you want to be able to control the number of columns in your galleries, you will have to use the standard thumbnail grid gallery type.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I had understood the part about calculating against the page width, had just hoped I could have control over how the images were broken down. Will keep playing with it – it is a cool feature nonetheless!

    cheers,
