Change Menu Font size, mystique theme (8 posts)

    Hi, I'm trying to change the size of the Menu nav items on my site without changing the size of all fonts on the page.
    I'm using the mystique theme if that matters.
    The site is at http://www.psspoilers.com - as you can see, the menus are overflowing the page as new items are added.

    I was able to change all font sizes on the page by messing with this:

    html,body{min-height:100%;}
    body{background:#000 url(images/bg.png) repeat-x center bottom;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;color:#4e4e4e;}

    But I'd like to just change the size of the font in the menus at the top.
    Thanks for your help,
    -Olaf

    Try removing font-size:115%; from:

    ul.navigation li a {
    color:#4E4E4E;
    display:block;
    font-size:115%;
    font-weight:bold;
    line-height:31px;
    min-height:32px;
    padding:0 13px 0 11px;
    position:relative;
    text-align:center;
    text-decoration:none;
    text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #FFFFFF;
    text-transform:uppercase;
    }

    in style.css.

    thank you esmi. I changed that value to 85%. That worked perfectly.

    Bonus question: Do you know if there's a way to widen the drop-down list so the few items that are too long don't wrap around to another line?

    There's a number of different places where it says 'font-size', can you check that you changed the same one as esmi suggested in the 'style.css' file?
    If that doesn't work, can you be more specific if you changed the size as I did or just deleted it as esmi suggested?

    You may try adding this line at about line 116 in style.css and adjusting the size.

    ul.navigation {
    background:url("images/nav.png") repeat-x scroll left top #EEEEEE;
    font-size:10px;
    list-style-type:none;
    margin:0;
    padding:0;
    position:relative;
    width:100%;
    z-index:15;
    }
