Change max ratings value

    My users asked me to change the max ratings value from 5 to 10. -after changing the admin setting from 5 to 10, I tried changing the ratings of existing posts in the database by multiplying with 2.
    But the display still shows the old values – even if I rate newly.
    How is the refresh of values from database working in the plugin?
    How can I upgrade correctly the max ratings value considering existing ratings?
