I'm having trouble finding the code to change the color of links in my theme (both the hover and actual link colors). Can anyone help me out?

You can try checking if the theme has options. Most of the time, you might end up having to edit the style.css. The best way to do that is using browser with Firebug or Google Chrome's developer tools.

    Thanks David.

I don't have theme options. I've got a custom theme and have been digging through my style.css, but can't find the line(s) of code that relates to link color.

I've been looking for "a:link" and "a:hover" is there something else I should be looking for or another place I should be looking for it?

there are various different link styles in your theme - which one are you referring to?
and have you tried to work with Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ or a similar browser tool to identify the involved styles?
