   Hi all,

   I've just updated my permalinks and I now would like to fix all the links within the post body to point to the new urls so they won't need to redirect (redirection will still happen just not on internal links that can be fixed).

   How can I do this when I have thousands of links? the format was:

   domain.com/2010/01/01/post-slug/

   I now need it to be:

   domain.com/post-slug

   Any help you can provide would be great as I'm stuck :(

   Try using the Search & Replace plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-and-replace/

   thanks, but I've tried that but can't see how that works beyond doing one by one, I have thousands of links to do.

   There must be a query or something I can use, or a plugin I haven't found as leaving all internal links to redirect is not ideal at all.

   thoughts?
