Hey all. It’s not so much a bug, just the way it’s been coded. I’ll be improving this in the next update to allow for the functionality to link to just the full size image 🙂
The next update should hopefully be released tomorrow 🙂

Is it possible to add lightbox or similiar solution, when clicking on images? Just like on facebook albums.. and WordPress Jetpack galleries. That is really the industry standard now.
Its not optimal solution to be redirected to image file URL on server.. in my opinion 😛
Thanks for the suggestion @norfox, we’re working on improvements such as this for the near future 🙂 Unfortunately it’s currently not possible natively.
Remember that Rocket Galleries is barely a week old, and is a free effort. Other industry standard plugins have been around a long time, and have been constantly improved during that period. Especially Jetpack, which is backed by a massive company.
We’re only starting, so a long way to go, but features will be coming sooner rather than later 🙂 We’re just scratching the surface 😉
