Change image depending on date (1 post)

    I'm making a blog for a friend and he wants to have an image, and maybe some text, on he's site that changes depending on what date it is.

    I've had a hard time locating a plugin like this but then I found this:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/free-event-banner/

    If I could only get it to work it would be exactly what I was looking for but the documentation is kind of bad and I'm not that good at wordpress to figure it out by my self :/

    I can get the default image to show up when I'm using the specific class but I don't really understand how to display the image that is connected to a certain date.
    I've been trying stuff like this:

    <div class="event_banner">
    <img src="<?php header_image(); ?>" width="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH; ?>" height="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT; ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" class="headerimg" />
    </div>

    I just asumed it had something to do with header_image() but maybe I'm totaly wrong?

    If anyone have used this plugin before or know anything simulare I'd appreciate the help!

    /Elias
