As long as you are not using a static page, home should go the the page you display posts on.

You could set the number of posts to be displayed to 1 or change something in the functions file. I am sort of time so that is all I can suggest now.

When you have some time I would like to know what to change in the functions.php file for this to work. I’m still learning php.
I would like to display the full post, as I am only showing the excerpts of the posts, changing the number of posts displayed to 1 is not an option.

Dashboard/settings/reading would be where you change summary or full text. Why is changing the number of posts to one not an option?

As I have a link on the blog to display all posts – which would result in a very long page if the summary option was not selected!
It’s a request from the client – they just want the ‘home’ link to display the latest post
