Change Height of Comment Input Boxes (1 post)

    Hi, I am using a child theme of Twenty Twelve. I want to make the input boxes (eg. name, email, url) in my comment form smaller in height.

    I trawled the forums and managed to get the size of the comment textarea to change using this code:

    #respond textarea#comment {
    height:20px;
    }

    However, I cannot get the input boxes to change. I went into comments.php and did all the $args array stuff with the comment_form() call and tried to edit the input boxes manually with html but had absolutely no luck either.

    I also tried

    #respond textarea#author
    and
    #input#author

    and it didn't work.

    #commentform #author {
    height:20px;
    }

    Did not work either.

    Is there a simple css solution I can use to alter the height of these input boxes? Any help appreciated, my website is:
