I run a website with a blog section. I have set the blog section up using WordPress, but the rest of the website was set up with a different CMS. I am using the Suffusion theme and I want to make the header image that I have uploaded link to my website's home page rather than the blog section home page. How can I do this?
Hey, thanks for the response. I had already set up wordpress in its own directory. But I just can't seem to get the header to register that it is in a sud directory. If I change the site address then I cannot find my blog, the address simply loads a blank page.
Hey,
Scratch that, I just typed one of the lines of code wrong!
Thanks for the quick response. I really appreciate it, and I am really liking working with your template. Thanks for all the time and effort that you put in.
Regards
I am now having the problem that my links seem to be defaulting back to my main weblink rather than the blog link so instead of being http://www.aucklandcitychurches.co.nz/blog/?26 it is http://www.aucklandcitychurches.co.nz/?26 which goes back to the home page. Any ideas how I could fix this?
Thanks
I have discovered that if I change the site URL to aucklandcitychurches.co.nz/blog then they work fine, but then my header link is to the blog home and not the main site URL...
Any suggestions?
If you are using permalinks (always a good idea, in case you switch hosts and move your blog) you can modify the permalink structure to include "blog" in the URL. I have done that at my site (check the author URL in the theme).
Hey thanks for that.
What would I write in the permalink structure?
