   Normally I would use a plugin or find out how to do this but how can I add an image to the header behind the logo and change the color of the background on my site (link above) Games Lowdown? I'm using different image and colour per area (egPS3, Wii etc.) so I will need to change it on category pages, posts and normal pages. thanks, very grateful for your future help :)

   Have a look at the body_class function.

   Documentation is limited, but it may be useful for you.

   unfortunately it's a little to limited on explanations, can someone explain or should I google it?

   thanks esmi, just what I needed, but I don't see posts motioned, I assume that the category style affects the posts right? and would a parent category style affect a child category's style automatically too?

   Only on the category pages.

   There's a complete list of the generated classes on that page.
