Change header cropping dimensions (6 posts)

    Hello,

I am currently using wp v3.3.1

I want to change the size of the header image that appears on the front end of the site.

I have changed the size of the image in the functions.php file
    (HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH & HEADER_IMAGE_LENGTH).

This has worked fine however when I try to crop the image in the dashboard, the cropping tool stops short of selecting all the image, resulting in all the image not displaying on the front end.

Does anyone have any ideas how to change the cropping tool in the dashboard to select all the image?

    Thanks

Stop editing 2011, get it back to original, then make a child theme for it
    http://vudu.me/child

After that, do this to change the header size/crop size
    http://vudu.me/oy

There's a few different things in that post, but you will find a bit about using a filter from your child theme to adjust height/width of the header

    Rev. Voodoo,

    Thanks for the advice.

I am using my own theme based on the twenty eleven theme.

I will look at the header size/crop link you have supplied.

Cool, I'm glad you have your own theme going. Too many people edit 2011, so it's the first thing we try to stop before moving forward. Good luck!
