[resolved] Change font on self hosted site (4 posts)

    Hi,

At this moment I am changing the theme for my site to Bushwick. I am diving into custom CSS code to change it to my own wishes, but can't seem to change the fonts.

If I follow the instructions I found here, I can't get it to work: link to instructions

When I inspect the elements with firebug, the lines for the font are crossed, so something overrides them, but I can't find out what?

I came across the Custom Design upgrade and although I rather change the fonts without it, I would by it. But it's only available for WordPress hosted sites...

I hope anyone here can help me!

    Thanks,

    David

[found the edit butting to correct my previous post]

  3. The simplest way to add new fonts to a site is by using a plugin.

For example, if you want to use a Google font, try a Google Fonts plugin:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=google+fonts

Once you've added a new font via the plugin, if you still have trouble with your font change, let us know exactly what piece of HTML you're trying to change to which font and we'll try to help.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try some plugins!

    Cheers,

    David
