I have been using WordPress.com for a long time and there was an easy way to pick a theme and then go to “edit theme” and load a new background image for the header of the blog.

Now I have moved to wordpress.org, installed 2.7.1 and hosting via siteground.com

When I load a theme and go to “Edit Header Image and Color” there seems to be ways to change the font color although there isn’t any button to load a custom header image.

    How do I do it?

    Thanks in advance!

Options to customise your header are theme specific. So whilst one theme might offer you the chance the upload a new header image and/or change the header font color, another may not.

Hi, I’m going to jump in here because I understand what you’re saying. So, I am using Prime Press and it alternates through five different images. I would like to replace with my own five images and am having trouble. I have read the material and watched the videos and my thick head still isn’t picking it up. Can anyone who is familiar with this theme help?
    Greatly appreciated!
