Change default event page template

    I would like to change the template used for single event pages. Right now my blog “post” template is being used for the event page and I would like to use my “page” template instead. I’m not a developer, but am tech savvy and good at following instructions.

    LOVE this calendar (and have been looking for the right one for a while), just need to change which template file it uses for event pages and it will be perfect. Thank you!

    I am guessing the issue will be resolved by following the instructions below, but I need help figuring out what my “CSS or jQuery-style selector of the target element” should be.

    “For advanced users:

    To place the calendar in a DOM/HTML element besides the default page content container without modifying the theme:

    Navigate to Settings > Calendar in the WordPress Dashboard.
    Enter a CSS or jQuery-style selector of the target element in the Contain calendar in this DOM element field.
    Click Update.”
