   I want to change the date of the published article so that it get's pushed to the feeds again. but the problem is when i change the date it changes the url also and the old url is broken (404) which is not what i want.

   I want to keep the same url/permlink and just push the post to feed again.

   Note: My url patterns is having a date before the title of the post.

   Any suggestions or tips are highly appreciated.

   Not possible. if the URL structure has date, it will pull up the published date.

   You can however try to save the new date in a custom field and call it in your template.
