    Hi aghasizadeh,

The topic you referred to changes the format but not the language.

For language changes you would need to switch WordPress so it operates in the appropriate language (search the docs/codex here at wordpress.org for more on doing this).

All of our dates are passed through WordPress's date internationalization functions so the key thing here would really be setting up WordPress to work appropriately for your locale.

    Hope that helps :-)

I'm unfamiliar with wp-jalali I'm afraid. What I can say is that we pass our dates through WordPress's date functions (the idea being to support localization efforts like this).

Have you reached out to the author of that other plugin (if it is what you need to translate the dates) and asked if he/she can see any reason why it's not working?

I actually asked him, and he said that your plugin wasn't use the jdate() function
wp-jalali converts all the dates without any problems and works fine
but I don't know why it's not compatible with your plugin!

No our plugin doesn't use jdate(), but jdate() is not a function that exists in WordPress - I'm guessing it's specific to this other plugin (and generally we would not add code that relies on a third party plugin that few people use).

Ultimately this is looking like an integration issue rather than a bug or conflict, and doesn't appear to be due to something we are doing wrong in terms of playing nicely with WordPress's localization functions - so I'm afraid we'll need to leave further problem solving on this front up to you.

    Thanks - and good luck!
