Change colour and font of Event title

I don’t like the colour or font of the title for each event that the event manager displays. I know i need to change that in the addon CSS field but i’m not sure how to do that.

I have other stuff already in that addon css field that was given to me by the theme developer to make the theme display correctly on smartphones and tablets but he said to put this “color: #000000” in that same field but it didn’t work…. what am i missing, brackets or something? Do i need to use the name of that event title before i put the colour behind it or something? please help
