Change Color of Static Home Page Content Area

Hello,

I am using the edublogs version of the Responsive theme, so I do not have the option to change any code that requires editing theme files. I do have the option to add custom CSS through the “Theme” options menu.

I have changed the background color of my site and have successfully changed the color of the content area on separate pages. However, my static front page will not follow the other pages and it is the same color as the background.

Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? Below is the URL to the site.
