    Hi all,

    I already managed to change some color related things to my website but I am not there yet.

    Does anyone know how I can change the dark green color of my footer into grey? I assumed the 'search' button will automatically change into grey because I saw somewhere it is transparent but I could be mistaken.

    The same goes for the green color behind my home/about/contact 'page' button.

    And the vertical green line behind the text field in the middle that says 'Powerful designs'.

    My website is: http://doornbosdesign.com/

    I already searched in the forum for solutions that helped other people but unfortunately it did not work for my template.

    Thank you!!

    I'm not sure how your theme works (if it has an interface where you can change colors), but you need to change green.css

    the footer color is set here:

    .footer-navi {
        background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #2B4908;
    }

    search here (it is using an image):

    .footer #searchform {
        background: url("../images/search-bg.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
        width: 180px;
    }

    Home page button:

    #menu li.current-menu-item a, #menu li.current-menu-parent a, #menu li.current_page_parent a, #menu li a.selected, #menu li a:hover, #menu li.current_page_item a {
        background: url("../images/menu-bg.png") repeat-x scroll center top #2B4908;
        color: #FFFFFF;
    }

    vertical line:

    .slide .slide-content.entry {
        background: url("../images/purple.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
        border-right: 8px solid #2B4908;
    }

    You should consider using Firebug for Firefox to help you figure out the CSS code in your site. It is a great tool.
