[resolved] Change color of active link in horizontal menu via CSS? Screenshots included (5 posts)

    Hey,

    In short, here is what I'm trying to do:

    Currently (no change in color in horizontal menu when on an active page): http://i45.tinypic.com/10h3w2t.jpg

    Desired effect illustration: http://i48.tinypic.com/2r2snzd.jpg

    Trying to edit this in my CSS stylesheet.

    Current theme is Hybrid News if that's of relevance.

    post a link to your site;
    and for these kind of formatting questions, try to work with a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to investigate the involved styles.

    try to add to style.css:

    .menu .current_page_item, .menu .current_page_parent { background:red; }
