   Hi Guys,

   I changed my blog URL from xyz.com/ to xyz.com/blog...

   The page loads fine on xyz.com/blog and when I mouseover the links all the links correctly point to xyz.com/blog but when I click on any of the links it takes me back to the old URL i.e. xyz.com

   For example.. when I mouse over a URL I see..

   xyz.com/blog/article.html but then I click on it, it takes me to xyz.com/article.html.

   All the internal links have same behavior..

   Plz help..

   Did you check the steps and info in this page and also this one before moving your WordPress from root to folder?

   I did not follow the first article you sent but did make changes to the database according the the second one..

   i.e http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL (Followed This one)

   But no help!

   Go to your permalinks settings, and click update, and then try viewing your site.

   Issue resolved by editing .htaccess

   I should have looked into earlier.. but I thought just updating the permalinks from the admin was enough.. it clearly wasnt enough when the permissions are not set to write.
