Hi all, I am new to wordpress. For some reasons I cannot change my background image in my home development page. I have already edited the css codes in the header field but I still get the default blue page of WordPress. Is there anything I am supposed to do that I am missing out? Thanks for the response.

  • Assuming you means that you cannot change the background on your site, it would be helpful if you could provide the url of your site.

hi esmi, here is the link to my webpage. http://dev.webgrowth.biz/ im trying to change that blue header. i have edited the default.css file alreday but for some reasons its not working. thanks.

It’s being added by the theme’s custom header function. Try looking in Appearance->Header.

I got it. I had permission issues when i wanted to change my background via Appearance>Header. I was getting the message: unable to upload “mypic” to wp-contents> uploads. So I just changed the default background to mine and created a backup. thanks for the help tho.
