change background color in Eximius?

    I’m running 3.0.3 with Eximius theme.

    I want the background color (right and left sides of screen, outside the sidebars) to change color – now it is default grey.

    I have already tried the standard solution of adding “background: #XXXXXX (the hex color code)” to the “body {” area of the stylesheet but it doesn’t seem to work on this theme.

    Am I doing something wrong here? or has anyone else run into this? If so, how did you work around it?

    There are literally thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.
