   What I want to do is this:

   1. The author types in a tag marker when they do their Page
   2. Before the Page is output, I check through the content of the Page, looking for this marker.
   3. If I find one, it's replace with something else (a snippet of code I have).

   My only problem is with the second step; I don't know how to nab the Page's content before it's output. I'm guessing I need to use a filter on it, but I'm not sure which filter.

   A few add ons do this, but looking through something like Contact Form 7, I can't seem to find out they do it...

   Anyone shed a little light on this?

   How hard did you look for that filter?

   What I was looking for turned out to be the Shortcode API, which is awesome and under promoted.

   Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, MichaelH. :)
