   Just a quick question since I can't find an answer. Can WP handle a CGI form? Also, is it equipped to allow unique user log-ins to a password protected area?

   You can call CGI from an HTML form in a post or page, but if you're trying to use a mail form, why not use php? WP already allows registrations, etc., and they can be extnded with something like WordPress › Role Scoper « WordPress Plugins.
