• Hi wp geeks,

I’m very new to this thing. Let me put it this way, I’m new to this whole web thing. I just instaled WP on my server and it all looks good so far because I did it with Fantastico! I’m trying to instal Cforms plugin so I can add some more interactivity to the thing. The problem is I don’t seem to get it. I’ve already downloaded the Cforms into my hard drive and extracted the file. Now, how do I get these lots of files uploaded into my /wp-content/plugins/ directory when everytime I click on the Cforms folder icon it opens more subfolders and files? Do I upload every single file individually or do I upload the zipped folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and then unzip it there in Cpanel?

Please help Fatbeat spreading the flavour.

  • Hey Fatbeat… It’s really simple to install the plugin. You need to upload the “cforms” folder with everything in it. So, if you can upload the folder in your ftp program, that is how you’re supposed to do it. If not, you could upload the zip file to the plugins folder and then in your website hosting cpanel, click on the zip archive and extract the items. I’ve never done it that way, but it might work.
