Certain posts on designated pages.

    I am not sure I understand your first question. As for the second I made my Slider category my “Portfolio” category and then hid it from the main loop so those posts only appear on the slider. You can do this under Appearance Theme Options under the general tab.

    Also I am not sure if this will help with the first but the plugin in “WP Hideposts” is very helpful in making certain posts show up or not show up where you want them.

    That worked. Thanks, also had to delete the blog page and menu. Then build completely new blog page and redo menu.
