Certain Gravatars Not Showing Up (9 posts)

I really have no explanation. I set the settings to X (i.e. it accepts X rated gravatars), my gravatar is rated G, and yet I get this:

Two gravatars are showing up; three are not. I've checked my own account and there's nothing wrong with my gravatar. I'd expect all or none to be showing up, not this. The theme I'm using is a child theme of mystique, and I'm also running the Spam Free WordPress plugin for comments (though disabling it doesn't fix the problem). Anyone seen anything like this?

Gravatar has rules about this, review them.

That is, of course, not the issue, and was the first thing I checked. Here's a different blog where I commented with the same account. The gravatar displays as intended.

They reserve the right to not allow any images found objectionable. That said, hosting such on your site and using on another are different.

What are you talking about? Both are my sites, they're the same account, and checking the gravatar here [1] turns up no problems. The problem is either with WordPress or the theme, which is why I posted here for help.

    What are you talking about?

Apparently, you have this all figured out - please mark as resolved.

I was hoping not to be trolled on a support forum. If anyone else has any advice or experienced a similar problem, I'd love to hear about it. Again, I'm using a child theme of mystique and running Spam Free WordPress for comments, but disabling it doesn't fix the problem.

I take extreme exception to the above comment. I provide advice here free of charge and have provided hundreds if not thousands of site owners with an avenue to resolve their issue(s). Please ask Gravatar about Gravatar issues.
