Certain characters do not display

    Hello,

    I’ve started a new website, but I can’t seem to get some runic (Old Turkic) characters working.

    This is indeed strange, I can display the same characters with the appropriate fonts installed in wordpress.com domains, but the same does not work while on my hosted site with manual wordpress installation.

    Whenever I type some Old Turkic characters and press save, characters do not show up, and if there is any text or html code after it, they all get deleted. This is not theme-related, text gets deleted in wp-admin panel as well.

    This is indeed strange, any help could be greatly appreciated.
