WordPress is all new to me and I am anxious to start a few new blogs but I have no idea where to start. It's not content that's the issue, it's all the technical stuff. I've yet to find a good online resource for 'dummies' in this area. Plus, I would love to network with some locals that are blogging and earning income.
Any one out there?

Where in Central PA are you? There are WordPress meet ups all over PA (try searching at wordpress.meetup.com). I'd also suggest buying Lisa Sabin-Wilson's WordPress for Dummies book.
If you're just looking to start a few blogs, you could start out with WordPress.com.
