    Hi All,

    I have a theme on ruimtevaart.co.cc
    As you can see, the menu at the top is too small for all the menu-links.

    Which CSS element should I use to make it wider, so that all the links are ok?

    I hope to get some help,

    Rik

    If you want to make the menu wider, use the .nav selector, but you may have problems with your .Sheet selector's overflow: hiden; style.

    Another technique o make the elements fit onto on line, is to reduce the spacing between list items.

    Are you using a custom theme?

    I have a template called : "galaxy on the horizon cee020".
    So I think it is a custom template, but it was free!

    I think it would be best to either use a Child Theme or Custom Style/CSS plugin to change the appearance.
    Have you either?

    No, but I will install Custom Style/CSS.

    I host the blog myself.
    Are you aware of that?

    Because I don't have a custom.css file...

    Have you installed the Custom CSS Manager plugin?

    Yes, but I get a empty box, without some code.
    Is that normal?

    Yes that is normal, from that empty box you insert your CSS.

    Oh okay.
    But which code do I need to make my blog wider?

    Options
    1)
    If you want to make the menu wider, use the .nav selector, but you may have problems with your .Sheet selector's overflow: hidden; style.

    2)
    Another technique to make the elements fit onto on line, is to reduce the spacing between list items.

    Which option do you want to implement?

    Try adding this CSS;

    .artmenu a span span {
     padding: 0 15px;
    }
