[resolved] center nav bar--done all the access edits, but still something's off! (3 posts)

    I am working in a child theme version of Twenty Eleven.

    I've centered the nav bar before on other sites, and although I've made those suggested changes to the #access and #access ul, there is still something off that is making my nav bar align left (or so it seems to me).

    I can't figure it out!

    site: sacredrootsholistichealing.com

    Firebug pointed me to:

    #branding .only-search + #access div {
        padding-right: 205px;
    }

    which I added to my child theme's style.css only to find that it completely disregarded all the color/style edits I have created thus far (made the bar black with white text, as it is in the original twenty eleven)
    .

    Any of you masters know how to steer me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Removing that code centers the menu for me in Firebug. Make sure you are clearing any caches on your site and browser...

    Make sure you don't have CSS errors that are problematic:

    voilá! removing the code worked, but I also had to clear the caches on my browser.

    Thank you, yet again, WPYogi!
