i have a problem with the layout of my pages and index and that is that it will show up very differently in different browsers as well as computers...
is there a code/way/command to get everything centered on the screen on all computers?
= not to have the content jump into different places when viewed in another computer than my own....

You could start by fixing some of the validation errors in your theme.
