I do have one question for this great tool I have just installed when using the Dropdown Fields option.

I have created a new ‘Custom Field’ (Radio option) called ‘Sectors’

My custom entries are currently tagged to sectors, eg

    Post A = sector 1
    Post B = sector 2

However both the dropdown and radio options only allow a single selection – is their a way of adding multiple selections so I can assign more than one ‘Sector’? so for example

    Post B = sector 1, 2

PLUS: Other question I suppose is how do I get the current taxonomy ‘Categories’ to show as I could just utilise that to group my new custom entries.

By definition, radio fields and dropdown fields allow for the selection of a single item. If you need to select multiple items, you need a multiselect field. The UI for those can be a multi-select dropdown or a series of checkboxes. You can either define a new multiselect field or change your field to a multiselect field.

Getting taxonomies is a trickier topic: you could use a MySQL query to retrieve a list of taxonomies, but if you’re doing that, it’s probably a good idea to just use the built-in taxonomy functionality.

Now how daft do I feel – I never even noticed that option further down 😉

Sorry for that and thanks for a prompt response, the plugin is a godsend!

I converted them over no problem, so the taxonomy isn’t an issue.
